I thought this would be a great place to bring up a question about the blower cars. I have been playing for a while and I don’t know the answer and I have seen guys asking the same question on other pages.... What is glitching? Why does it only affect the blower cars? It sounds like a bad thing but we see some of these guys posing ridiculously low E/T numbers utilizing this glitching technique. Also what is proper racing edict when competing in a serious race use or no? In general is it frowned upon or accepted. So I ask again. What is glitching?

Glitching is when ya boost goes well above the 30psi mark...some time up in the 8,7,6k and beond mark on ya tach... A lot of older devices iPhone 3Gs and ect will glitch more than newer devices...they make em glitch more by quickly pressing the gas at pre stage....I usually just press it's once and go with what I got...some sit there it seams like a week trying to get a good glitch.... I use a 4s so anything above 8k on the tach is very rare but does happen....I personally don't see nothing wrong or unfair with a glitch under 8k

Well said, it's a flaw in the game, if you use an older apple device And tap the throttle quickly at prestage you will see the boost needle jump up beyond the 30 mark, most times you can't prevent this so it's kind of an unwritten rule that any boost under the 8 k mark is considered normal or allowable People will consider 60' times under .87 and et's under 5.70 Glitches or cheating, if you happen to run that fast make sure to go on here and FB and post an apology or explanation, that way no one will call you out as a dirty racer =BIGRIG= (DSF/USA)

Im not a supporter of glitching against other racers. I don't find it cool being beat by a full second when ive run a respectable 5.80.Guys have said "oh we only do it for our ETs".Yeah well what about the guy in the next lane? Have a separate glitch room.Have a glitch Door slammer shootout out I don't care but just don't bring your 4 second glitch car against me. Ill give you the win.

Hey this is Donnie (DSPRAY1968) and I am going to chime in on the glitching. I run on an ipad3 and I have an iphone4. All I have to say is there are a lot of people playing the game with iphone4's and iPods and they all can get the extra boost. So don't get mad at the guys who know how to get the extra boost. Anyways since we are talking about glitching I have not seen anyone mention the other one gear glitch that a lot of people are doing? You all are complaining about the 4 sec runs but what about the guys who run 5.50's @ 300 mph all without shifting a single gear. I have not heard anyone say anything about that...

Is this racing? And if you consider it racing then accept all other forms that you may encounter when racing on the game. I run 95% of my races on my ipad3 so I do not use the iPhone much when racing. But if someone uses the one gear crap on me I will break out the iPhone and go head hunting. When I catch up with them I will post on the YB forum and maybe here now that I have joined just to let everyone know who is playing the game the way they are. Donnie

TeamScorpion, if you are getting boost over 8k then technically you are glitching yourself!!!! Cause I never even get close to 8k on the IPAD but I can get big boost on the I4, over 8k so what is the difference. The difference lies in the amount of boost over 8k we get comparably. But it seems to be ok to get over 8k or even up to 7.5k and you do not consider this advantage but when someone on a different device gets big boost everyone goes and starts complaining but why you get over 8k yourself? I don't really understand why everyone is whining about the extra boost. If you want to make everything fair, separate the game by devices for instance, IPAD vs IPAD, iPhone 4 vs iphone4 and iPod vs iPod. That way we are all on the same playing field per technology.

Oh I don't complain unless someone sits there in prestage untill time runs out trying to glitch....my car runs 5.7s under 8k ( when I shift right)...mine gets over 8k maybe 1 time a day but I don't sit there and try to glitch...I go with what it gives me and if I'm running one of y'all guys and it jumps way up I'll tap to try and git rid of it

Well isn't that what the timer is for? What device do you run on? I have a feeling it is a I4 ?

I'm thinking the timer is there more for turbos and NOS cars that get double bulb on....not sure...but if they want to race and "try" to glitch maybe they should host their on race and not jump in lanes with cars that try to run without "trying" to glitch...just a thought

The timer is there for each car to pre stage and stage so even if a guy is messing around and playing around he is bound by the timer. If it times out on him you win. So no need to get mad about it when people sit there for a few seconds before staging. My IPAD 57 for instance will sometimes give me the max boost that I will get but there are times I will back up churp the tires and re-st age and hit the throttle and all of a sudden I have my boost where before I may have only had 30lbs or a little more. Does not always mean someone is glitching.
